Monica Huber owned and operated Beaumont Leaded Glass for 30 years prior to founding The Glass Tattoo Sign Company in 2015. Designing, fabricating and installing Stained Glass Windows throughout Southeast Texas earned her an excellent reputation with Consumers and Builders alike. As a Glass Artist, Monica often Kiln Fired images into glass using time tested hand painted ceramic pigments. Glass Artist have used this method of creating art on ceramics for over 2000 years. Proof that this method of placing art onto glass will stand the test of time without fading.
Discovering new digital technology to replace this age’s old method, Monica and businessman husband David Huber began experimenting. Mounting the Kiln Fired images onto Hardie Board and Embedding it in cement has proven to be the formula for creating Lifetime, Never Fade Signs and Addresses. With their close proximity to the coast, Monica’s artwork has focused primarily on “fun” Beach Home oriented designs. With a growing number of customer request for custom signs, our library of designs continues to expand. Builders and Realtors have discovered they make great parting gifts for their clients. Look for our designs to continue to expand into the Inland Markets as well.
